She Who Hears the Cries of the World

A Day of Mindfulness for Women

Peggy Rowe Ward, guiding teacher and co-founder of Lotus Institute, will co-lead a special Day of Mindfulness alongside her friend, Reverend Teijo Munnich, to celebrate International Women's Day. Reverend Teijo Munnich is a Zen priest in the Soto Zen tradition and the founder of the Great Tree Zen Women’s Temple.

The temple is located in the majestic forests surrounding Alexander, North Carolina. Just a short drive outside of Asheville. Vegan soup and rice will be available for lunch. Or bring your own lunch, or bring something additional to share. Bring a journal for writing or drawing.
