The Call of the Lion’s Roar | Talk by Dr. Larry Ward

The Call of the Lion’s Roar

Fearlessness that will not be silenced

We are living in a perilous moment. Earlier this year, the atomic clock tracking the conditions for species survival moved from 90 seconds to 89 seconds. In these hard times, the path of mindfulness offers our hearts the wisdom to find stability and freedom, while empowering our thoughts, speech, and actions to embody a new kind of confidence.

As caring and engaged citizens—bodhisattvas in the world—our charge is to live the change already within us. This is the Lion's Roar: a fearless call that will not be silenced.

For this talk, Dr. Larry Ward will explore what it means to embody this courage in our daily lives. Our time together will also include meditation, poetry and Q&A.
