Mindfulness, Climate & Social Justice | Panel Discussion and Q&A with Dr. Larry Ward and Anh Tran | Hosted by Plum Village

Acting from Love when the World is on Fire

Join us for a live 3-part series hosted by our friends at Plum Village

As we continue to bear witness to the impacts of the climate crisis—and the wider polycrisis—many of us are feeling despair and powerlessness in the face of a world on fire. How can we tend to our ecological grief, find the strength and stability to help cool the flames—both internally and in the world around us? Is it possible to maintain hope and resilience in the face of forces that seem to be pulling in the opposite direction of a more just future?

Session 2: Mindfulness, Climate & Social Justice

Thich Nhat Hanh taught us the importance of engaged Buddhism; how we can practice mindfulness in a way that benefits both oneself and society.

During this event, taking place on Sunday, June 22, we’ll hear from experienced dharma teachers on the links between Buddhism and climate and social justice, including Dr. Larry Ward and Anh Tran.
