The Art of Interbeing | 5-Day Retreat at Barre Center for Buddhist Studies

The Art of Interbeing

with Dr. Peggy Rowe Ward and Diane Little Eagle

Sitting with the Buddha at Barre Center

We are delighted to return to the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies to offer this five-day residential retreat on the art of interbeing, with teachers Dr. Peggy Rowe Ward and Diane Little Eagle.

During our time together, we will practice deep looking into ourselves, nature, and the world around us. Together we will explore the wisdom and joy of our deep interconnectedness with all beings. Our retreat will include periods of silence, indoor and outdoor meditation, deep relaxation, artistic expression, music, and other forms of embodied practice. Diane Little Eagle will also share story, song, and dance rooted in the traditions of her Alaska and Canada First Nations ancestors.

As part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Order of Interbeing, participants will have the opportunity to receive The Five Mindfulness Trainings in the Plum Village tradition. This retreat will also be the first we have offered at Barre without Dr. Larry Ward. We will take time to remember Larry, True Great Sound, whose presence and teachings continue to walk with us.
