Love, Justice, Liberation & Transformation with Reggie Hubbard (ENTIRE SERIES)
This four-week series draws from Dr. Larry Ward's groundbreaking work, America's Racial Karma, and his poetry collection, Morning Night, weaving together the tenets of mindfulness and present-moment awareness with an unflinching examination of how racial constructs — rooted in the societal centering of whiteness — have shaped all of us. Together, we will build the skills to hold space for truth-telling, to see one another clearly, and to confront injustice with both honesty and compassion.
Session Breakdown
Week One: Where We Are Now?
We begin with an honest reckoning with race in the world, in spiritual spaces, and in our own lives. This opening session invites a shared and truthful inquiry into the landscape we are standing in and what it asks of us.
Week Two: How Did We Get Here?
Before we can move forward, we must understand how we arrived. This session explores the difficult truth of America’s conditioned response to racial hierarchy and the ways truth has been omitted.
Week Three: What Is Our Collective Dream for Ourselves and One Another?
Grounded in honesty, we turn toward possibility. What do we truly desire for our communities, for one another, and for the world we are building together? This session creates space for shared vision and the cultivation of collective hope.
Week Four: Where Do We Go From Here?
The journey continues beyond conversation into action, relationship, and daily practice. This final session integrates what we have explored and invites each of us to carry these seeds of awareness and compassion into our lives and communities.
Thursday, May 7; Thursday, May 14; Thursday, May 21; Wednesday, May 27

We invite you to choose a contribution that feels right for your circumstances. This sliding scale helps make the event accessible while supporting Lotus’s work and offerings. We invite those who are comfortably able to contribute to consider an amount toward the upper end of the range. We invite those managing their resources carefully to select an amount that feels balanced. If cost is a challenge, we invite you to choose an amount that still allows you to participate.
